About Youth in Digital Extension
Youth in Digital Extension at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is committed to practical, farmer-focused digital extension that turns agriculture into a viable business for young Nigerians.
Our mission
We bridge the gap between agricultural research and the Nigerian farmer. Through these guides, we deliver step-by-step, localised knowledge — from land cultivation to post-harvest, packaging and sales — so that every agropreneur can run agriculture as a business, not just a pastime.
TETFund
This project is sponsored by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), which supports agricultural research, extension and capacity building in Nigerian tertiary institutions. TETFund's sponsorship makes these practical, Nigerian-localised guides freely available to farmers, students and agropreneurs across the country.
